About Madeleine V. WaddellMadeleine has been in a special generation (baby boomers) real estate world in the form of managing real estate since she was 18 years of age. She ventured into actively selling residential properties after she obtained her broker’s license in 1981 and continued her education thru the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI). Her devotion to the real estate industry has provided her clients a full range of experience and knowledge of the great Prairie. An old wise tail is that a train was going through the area and it stopped. Traveling Frontier got off the train and said what a “Grand Prairie”. That is how this city was founded and I have lived by that saying and worked hard to find dream homes for many families.
Also, having experience with commercial properties which includes vacant land, day cares, and restaurants.
Being involved with Verna B. Waddell, my mother- in- law and Realtor-Owner she volunteered many hours to the Grand Prairie Board of Realtors and then became President of the Grand Prairie Board of Realtors. Madeleine followed her footsteps and became Vice-President (Education Chairman), Bylaws Chairman and Public Relations Chairman for many years.She also was involved in the Realtor Review Magazine Publications and delivered to all the members of the Board.She was received numerous awards for outstanding leadership and she accomplished her goal of being Woman of the Year, President of the Grand Prairie Women’s Council of Realtors. She has participated in State conventions and brought back news in real estate for the members and the public. She received proclamations from the City Mayor of Grand Prairie for a drawing contest for Public Schools.
Madeleine has been happily married for 47 and has 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grand daughter which leads to a very active life.
